  • Documents Setup.

So, let's not know about Photoshop at first. I am using Photoshop cc, the software Version Is not very important if you can learn any version, you can work on all versions. Anyway, as we all probably already know Adobe Photoshop is mainly photo editing software, it also works graphically.

That means, the logo banner poster business card, etc. can be designed on this software. But these are special for Adobe Illustrator, but we can do it in Adobe Photoshop if you want. And Adobe Photoshop is a software for Adobe Systems Company, we may know Already. However, we are not aware of some interface overview of this software now.

Interface overview

First, the menu that you can see, this is called the menu bar, there are sub-menu under Each menu, for example, if you click on a file, you will see some submenu here, Then if you go to edit, you can see some submenu here.

Then what we can see below the menu bar is the Options bar and this options bar works with the toolbar, the toolbar, which we see on the left side, the toolbar that we see here correlates with each of these tools, For example, if I click on the Move tool from the toolbar, the options bar will change. That means the tools that are here each Tool has an option bar attached to it, which means the Tool you select, the other options of that Tool, those options will show in the options bar.

Then if we notice in the toolbar, you can see a small icon next to each tool, this icon means that there are more sub-tools under this tool, if we right-click on the mouse, we can see the sub tools.

Reset tools and workspace

Then we see on the right side the floating the panel, we can call it a Panel or a floating panel. In this panel, we can drag and drop anywhere we want if you want to put this panel back in position, In that case, we Will drag The panel and release it if the floating Panels are random, In that case, we can move everything back to the previous position with just one click, so what we will do is, on the right side, you can see that reset is essential. Only one click, everything will return to its previous location.

Again, if you want to add a new panel, in that case, you would go to the window in the top menu bar, then go to the window and see that there are many tools, from there, clicking on the Tool you need will add to the panel. If I don't need it again, dragging The Tool out and closed it will go away.

Screen mode

Now we Will talk about screen mode, many times when we work, we need to change the screen mode, below the toolbar, we will see the screen mode, here we get three types of screen modes. The first is standard screen mode, full-screen mode with menu bar, and full-screen mode. That is, just clicking on the full-screen mode will only keep the screen, and everything else will be covered, and if you select the screen mode with the menu bar, in that case only the menu bar will be, now we can see that it is currently in standard screen mode. And the same thing we can change from the menu bar view.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Now we will say keyboard shortcuts we know that every one of Photoshop's tools has a keyboard shortcut, and if those keyboard shortcuts are memorized to us, then work will be faster. And these keyboard shortcuts we can see next to each of the tools. Also if we click on Edit, we will see the keyboard shortcut at the bottom, here we will see all the tools and menus keyboard shortcuts, if we want, we can change these keyboard shortcuts, but it is better to use the default shortcut given Photoshop, introducing Lessons With Photoshop today So far, the next lesson We will learn document setup, stay tuned.

Suppose we now design a YouTube thumbnail. We know the size of the YouTube thumbnail is 1280x720 pixels, Then I will give the resolution 72, one thing we will remember is that if we Design a print, there will be a Resolution 300, and if we design a web element, then the resolution will be 72 pixels per inch.

Which print element and what web element do we understand? The design will remain printed in the print element, and that will move used on the web, such as the website logo Facebook Cover Web Element. Then the color mode will be RGB. when we design for print, we will put the color mode on CMYK, and when I design for the web, I keep the color mode RGB. Then we will put 8bit. Keep background contents white. Everything else is the default Also we will click on the Create button.
