Set Up a New Document

What we need to do to create logo free, first, we have to take a new document, Go to File from the menu bar and click New or Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+N.

Then a new dialog box will open, and you click on more settings. Set on the document, and fill in the following, Name Logo Width 1000px, Height 1000px.

Color mode If you use for printing select CMYK resolution (300 ppi), And you use for web Select RGB mode resolution (72 ppi) and click on the Create document.

Create a Logo Design Step by Step

We got a new document, now you select Ellipse Tool from the toolbar or press keyboard shortcut (L). and click on the worksheet.

Now fill in the value Width 400pt, Height 400pt and click OK.

We can see the circle is created. Now turn off the stroke color of the circle and fill the circle with Gradient color, select the gradient colors as needed.

Again select Ellipse Tool from the toolbar and click on the worksheet. this time select value Width 200pt Height 200pt and click OK.

Has been created another Circle, and the new circle has to be Place on the previous circle. Select both circles and click Horizontal Align Center and Vertical Align Bottom.

At this stage select Line Segment Tool from the toolbar or press (/). And hold the Shift button and drag the mouse to draw a line horizontally along the center, and apply any color.

Hold the Shift key again, drag the mouse and draw another line vertically along the center and apply color.

Select the second circle and Copy with Ctrl+C or go to Edit from the Menu Bar and click on the Copy.

Now select both circles and click on the Minus Front from the pathfinder.

We can see the second circle is Cut off, now you select the Line and go to Object from the menu bar and go down you select Path and click on the Divide Object Below.

Again, select the second line and go to path and click on the Divide Object Below.

Now the whole circle is divided into different parts, Delete the split parts. Now press Ctrl+F to paste the previously copied circle.

Select the last part and go to Delete Anchor Point Tool from the toolbar and Click on the anchor point.

Select the design part and click Direct Selection Tool from the toolbar or press keyboard shortcut (A), with the mouse drag the handle of the anchor point as you like.

Select the design part again, and take Rotate Tool from the toolbar and click on the center of the circle, and press the Alt key on the keyboard and drag it with the mouse to make a copy.

And copy three more times by pressing Ctrl+D on the keyboard, and delete the circle.

Now select all logo and click on the Divide from pathfinder, and Ungroup the logo by pressing Shift+Ctrl+G or click the mouse right button and click on the Ungroup.

Now apply the color in the logo as needed, and enter your company name.
